About Me

Overview

I am currently a senior in the Cybersecurity program at Western Washington University, where I am honing my skills to address the ever-evolving challenges in the field of information security. My decision to pursue a career in cybersecurity stems from a lifelong fascination with technology—understanding how it works, how to keep it secure, and how to identify and exploit vulnerabilities to improve defenses. This curiosity has driven me to explore various aspects of cybersecurity, from network security and cryptography to ethical hacking and incident response.

Prior to enrolling at Western Washington University, I earned a two-year Associate's degree in Computer Networking from Bellingham Technical College. This program provided me with a strong technical foundation, encompassing areas such as network architecture, systems administration, and troubleshooting. The hands-on experience I gained during this time helped solidify my understanding of core technological concepts and laid the groundwork for my transition into cybersecurity.
